XS pHDO NEX Portable pH and Dissolved Oxygen Meter

The XS pHDO NEX is a professional two-channel portable multiparameter meter from XS Instruments, designed and manufactured in Italy by Giorgio Bormac. Combining pH and optical dissolved oxygen in one handheld unit is unusual on the market, and it suits water and wastewater monitoring, aquaculture, environmental fieldwork, pool and process water, and laboratory research.

Channel one handles pH, mV, ORP and ISE through a BNC and RCA connection, with resolution down to 0.001 pH and accuracy of ±0.005 pH. Automatic calibration recognises USA, NIST and DIN buffers on up to 5 points, plus 2 user-defined points. Channel two takes the optical DO sensor on a multipin connector, with no membranes or electrolyte to replace, automatic calibration on one or two points, and automatic temperature and barometric pressure compensation.

The backlit TFT display has eight brightness levels and a Multiview screen showing up to four parameters at once, with guided on-screen setup and calibration. Full GLP functions, a 1000-record data logger with Sensor, User and Sample IDs, and USB-C download to PC keep results traceable. The meter is waterproof to IP65, runs on AA batteries, USB-C or mains, and ships with batteries, field electrode holder, coloured buffer solutions, USB cable, instructions and a hard-shell recycled polypropylene case.
