The XS PC 70 NEX is a two-channel portable multiparameter meter that measures pH, mV, ORP, conductivity, TDS and salinity, with pH and conductivity displayed at the same time. PC 70 NEX Portable pH and Conductivity Multiparameter Meter
The XS PC 70 NEX is the advanced portable multiparameter meter in the XS Instruments NEX series, designed and manufactured in Italy by Giorgio Bormac. Two independent channels let you run a pH electrode and a conductivity cell together and read both at once, which makes it a practical single instrument for water and wastewater treatment, agriculture and hydroponics, environmental monitoring, food and beverage production and general laboratory work.
Channel one covers pH from -2.000 to 16.000 with 0.001 resolution and ±0.005 accuracy, plus mV and ORP. Automatic pH calibration recognises USA, NIST and DIN buffers on up to 5 points, with 2 user-defined points, and ORP calibrates automatically at 475 mV. Channel two measures conductivity from 0.1 µS/cm to 500 mS/cm with automatic range switching, plus TDS and salinity, with automatic calibration on up to 4 standards or 1 user point, selectable cell constant of 0.1, 1 or 10 and adjustable reference temperature from 15 to 30 °C.
The high-definition backlit TFT display shows simultaneous pH and conductivity, or a Multiview screen with up to four parameters including temperature. It displays slope, offset, cell constant, buffers used, electrode status and a stability icon with three selectable levels, and guided on-screen procedures keep calibration straightforward.
GLP functions cover date, time, calibration data and a calibration expiry setting with measurement lock. The data logger records manually or automatically up to 1000 readings with date and time, tagged with Sensor ID, User ID and Sample ID, protected by a four-digit password and downloaded to PC over USB-C with the free DataLink software. The meter is waterproof to IP65, runs on three AA batteries, USB-C or mains, supports DHS digital electrodes, and switches off after 20 minutes. Every version ships with batteries, a three-hole field stand, coloured buffer solutions, USB cable, power supply, manual and a hard-shell recycled polypropylene case.
