The XS PC 7 NEX is the entry-level portable multiparameter meter in the XS Instruments NEX series, designed and manufactured in Italy by Giorgio Bormac. Two independent channels let you run a pH electrode and a conductivity cell together and read both at once, giving you one instrument for water treatment, agriculture and hydroponics, environmental sampling, food production and general laboratory work without the extra cost of GLP data management.

Channel one covers pH from 0.00 to 14.00 with 0.01 resolution and ±0.02 accuracy, plus mV and ORP. Automatic pH calibration recognises USA and NIST buffers on up to 3 points, with 2 user-defined points, and ORP calibrates automatically at 475 mV. Channel two measures conductivity from 0.1 µS/cm to 200 mS/cm with automatic range switching, plus TDS and salinity, with automatic calibration on up to 4 standards or 1 user point, selectable cell constant of 0.1, 1 or 10 and adjustable reference temperature from 15 to 30 °C.

The high-resolution backlit TFT display has eight brightness levels and shows pH and conductivity at the same time, along with slope, offset, cell constant, buffers used and a stability icon with three selectable levels. Guided on-screen procedures keep setup and calibration simple, and a HOLD function freezes the reading. Internal memory stores up to 100 measurements with recall.

The instrument is waterproof to IP65, runs on three AA batteries, supports DHS digital electrodes, and shuts off after 20 minutes. Every version ships with batteries, a three-hole field holder for electrodes, coloured buffer solutions, instructions and a hard-shell recycled polypropylene case.
