Installation steps for setup

Install the software
[2] Open the program and accept to install the update
[3] Right click and pin to star menu or task bar as/if preferred/needed.
[4] The plugged in unit show serial number.
[5] See that the clock on a new unit is not set. Select your time zone.
[6] Go to settings – set your options and time zone, maximum and minimum alarms, start method (3 options) etc.
[7] Save Parameter – deletes ALL previous data and starts afresh. “Parameters set successfully”. Note the logging start date. I set mine to immediate for the test.
[8] Software can be closed.
[9] Place unit in the environment.

Once setup, on connecting the USB to your computer, a pdf like this is automatically generated.
