The OPTIKA B-383POL is a trinocular polarizing microscope for transmitted light. It comes with infinity-corrected IOS N-PLAN POL plan achromatic objectives (4x, 10x, 40x and 60x) and 10x/20 mm micrometric eyepieces, giving up to 600x magnification. For polarized light work it has a centerable, focusable Bertrand lens, a 360° rotatable analyzer, λ, λ/4 and quartz wedge tint plates, a centerable quadruple nosepiece and a 160 mm round stage that rotates 360°. The Abbe condenser (N.A. 0.9/1.25) has a rotatable polarizer. Light comes from a 3.6 W X-LED3 with fixed Köhler illumination, rated for more than 65,000 hours. The body is aluminium die-cast, the optics have anti-fungus treatment, and the microscope weighs 7.8 kg. 1-2 Weeks lead time.

Description
OPTIKA B-383POL Trinocular Polarizing Microscope, 600x
The OPTIKA B-383POL is a trinocular polarizing microscope for transmitted light. It’s built for geology, mineralogy, petrography and materials science work. It uses infinity-corrected IOS N-PLAN POL plan achromatic objectives, which are strain-free and give 40x to 600x total magnification. They produce sharp, flat images with no stress-induced birefringence.
The polarizing attachment has a centerable, focusable Bertrand lens and a 360° rotatable analyzer. It also comes with λ, λ/4 and quartz wedge tint plates. This lets users move between orthoscopic and conoscopic observation to identify minerals, look at interference figures and assess birefringence.
The 160 mm round stage rotates 360° and has a vernier scale. The quadruple nosepiece is centerable, so specimens stay aligned when rotated. The Abbe condenser has a rotatable polarizer. A 3.6 W X-LED3 light source with fixed Köhler illumination gives even, daylight-balanced light and lasts more than 65,000 hours.
The trinocular head has a 50/50 light split, so you can attach a camera for documentation and teaching while still viewing through the eyepieces. The aluminium die-cast frame and anti-fungus treated optics make it a durable choice for university labs, mining and exploration labs, and quality control.
