The XS OXY 7 NEX is an easy-to-use portable dissolved oxygen meter that measures DO in mg/l, oxygen saturation and barometric pressure with automatic temperature and pressure compensation. It uses a polarographic sensor with a built-in polarisation timer, calibrates automatically on one or two points from 0% to 100%, and stores up to 100 measurements internally. Choose your configuration from the dropdown: complete with the 3 m DO7/3MT polarographic sensor, or the Ecopack version supplied without a sensor. Lead time is 4 weeks.

The XS OXY 7 NEX is the entry-level portable oxymeter in the XS Instruments NEX series, designed and manufactured in Italy by Giorgio Bormac. It suits aquaculture, wastewater and water treatment, environmental fieldwork, aquariums, brewing and general laboratory work where dependable DO readings are needed on site at a lower cost than optical instruments.
The instrument measures dissolved oxygen from 0.00 to 50.0 mg/l with 0.01/0.1 resolution, oxygen saturation from 0 to 400% and barometric pressure from 300 to 1100 mbar. Calibration is automatic on one or two points between 0% and 100%, with automatic compensation for temperature and barometric pressure and manual salinity compensation from 0 to 50 ppt. The polarographic sensor uses a replaceable membrane and filling solution, with the sensor polarisation timer built into the meter so readings stay stable.
The high-resolution backlit TFT display has eight brightness levels and shows the calibration points used with a stability icon, while guided on-screen procedures keep setup and calibration approachable. A HOLD function freezes the reading, and internal memory stores up to 100 measurements with recall. The meter is waterproof to IP65, runs on three AA batteries, and ships with a hard-shell recycled polypropylene case.
